John 10:4-5 (NKJV)

4 “And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

We each need to learn to hear God’s voice.  He may speak through a loud voice, a quiet voice, through His Word, through others, or just in your quiet time with Him.  You may get an immediate answer.  The answer may require you spend more time in prayer, in the Word, or even fasting to help you draw near and see His answer for you.  God has a plan and desires that we seek Him in all we do.  We can only hear when we draw near.

Never get ahead of His timing it can cause us to miss His best in blessing us.  We need to be in prayer to see His timing and not miss out by our lack of patience or looking for what we desire in our timing.  We need to know Him, follow Him, obey Him, and thank Him for all His answers to our prayers.  Give Him all the praise and the glory and tell what He has done for you.
