Relate Don’t Speculate

Matthew 7:3-4 (NKJV)

3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?

How many times do we compare ourselves to others?  There are times we look at others and point out that we are not like them or they are in worse shape than I am.  We need to be in prayer for our situation and then in turn pray how we can encourage others.  Jesus wants to help us so we can in turn help others.

Too many times we want to speculate what is wrong with someone and either compare ourselves or avoid them.  We need to allow healing in our lives and then relate to them and not speculate about them.  They are in need of help and healing from a loving Savior and we need to pray for them and pray with them.  God is always there and we need to overcome the circumstance and be there for others.

God gets all the glory when we allow Him to heal us as we in turn praise Him and give a testimony of what He has done for us.  As we recognize our needs we need to in turn recognize others are in need of His love.  So relate to the need, do not speculate why and in turn pray to know how to share and care for those in need of prayer because we have a loving Savior that is always there.
