Live in the Word

Hebrews 4:2 (NKJV)

For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

When we look at the spelling of two words and they are Word and world we see one letter difference.  One letter makes a change in the spelling.  One change would be in the world if all would receive His Word.

People that live for the world cannot understand the Word since it is not seen with faith.  God’s Word is there for all to hear, but not all will receive and accept.  We need to be in prayer for all the lost that the Holy Spirit will prepare their hearts.  Satan wants to create walls and barriers and that is what he does in getting people to live by world standards and not the standards of the Word.

When we are in the Word we grow in God’s love, mercy and grace.  If we live in the world we are lost and misguided.  The spelling difference is the letter “l” and the letter”l” looks like a wall.  A wall in the Word with the letter “l” changes the outlook of those who live worldly.  We need to spend time in the Bible daily to see how we are to live, learn and grow in faith.  When we live by His Word our daily walk is with Him by our side and we will always have joy in our journey.
