Never be Disappointed

Romans 5:1-5 (NKJV)

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Are there times in life we are disappointed?  Absolutely many of us would answer back.  Is the disappointment a result of our own expectations?  Many times this is the result.  The disappointment is an appointment God wants us to go through to grow us.  Appointments do not have to be a disappointment when we live by faith and know His love, mercy and grace.

I believe that the greatest part of a testimony is the middle of the storm.  You see perseverance, hope, faith, and trust all come together as we observe and pray for those we know in the turbulent storms that occur in their journey.  The person grows not only closer to God, but can also share with others how they can in turn draw closer also.

God wants to pour out His love to us.  We need to know His love, receive His love, and pass it on to others that need to have it poured into them.  Never say,”Poor me, but God please pour into me.”  He is there for you to help you as you put your complete trust in Him.  Remember to always give Him all the praise and the glory!
