What do they see?

Philippians 4:5 (NKJV)

Let your gentleness be known to all men.  The Lord is at hand.

Others are always watching and what do they see?  Do they see the love of Jesus through you at all times?  We do well on Sundays, but what about the other six days?  We leave church refreshed and renewed ready to share His love.  We are relaxed and enjoy the day.  Then we start the rest of the week.

As we start is our day started in prayer and in the Word to get us off on the proper start?  Others will be seeing us as we go through the day and what will your witness be?  Will our drive be without breaking any laws?  Will our road manners be Christ-like?  We arrive at work will others see a smile or a frown, a proper reaction to a situation or an over-reaction, and will all that we do during the day include Jesus and be Christ-like for others to witness?

Our witness is more than just sharing the Roman’s road.  Our talk is not our only way to witness, our walk is observed, actions are seen, the way we look at others are looked upon, as well as our treatment of all others are all ways of sharing Jesus.  Too many times we send mixed messages when we say we are Christians, yet act and react in ways that do not reflect His love.  People want to know the truth, see the truth and live in the truth.

John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

So share His truth and love so that others will want to receive the love of Jesus and make Him their Lord and Savior.
