24 Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
The desire of God’s heart is that Jesus will reside in your heart.
God loves all His children. He sent His Son Jesus to teach us how to pray, how to love, how to share, how to care and show us how much He loves us. When you look at the word desire you can arrange the same letters to spell reside. Jesus went to the cross for our sins and desires that we ask Him into our hearts. God loves us and wants to forgive us, but we have to ask for His forgiveness and confess our sins to Him. He loves us enough to forgive and forget when we repent and seek to truly walk the walk He wants to show us. A walk of grace and mercy, full of His love and sharing His love with others is a reflection of His love and giving God all the glory.
So seek to have that relationship He desires to have with you by spending time in the Word with Him and in prayer to Him. He will show you the way because He loves you that much.
