Psalm 92:1-2 (NKJV)
1 A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is good to give thanks to the Lord ,And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;2 To declare Your loving kindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night,
All through life we find ourselves to get into routines. We have a tendency to have the same eating habits, the same time to awaken, the same path during the day, as well as some of the day to day rituals that show we are consistent in our day to day living. We have time each day for so many things, yet do we spend enough time with the Lord?
We see it is good to give thanks to the Lord. Do we give Him thanks all the time? Thanks for our house, food, jobs, and families are common. Do you pray daily for preparation for your journey? Do you pray for guidance in the Word? When we do we will be thankful for the preparation for the storm, we will thank Him for the storm and thank Him for helping us through the storm. We have a loving Heavenly Father we need to spend time with and be thankful He is always there for us.
Sing praises to Him giving Him all the glory for what He does for you. As we all know He is always there for us yet we take that for granted at times. His kindness, faithfulness, love, mercy, and grace are there not for us to take for granted, but we are to be thankful for these precious gifts.
So in your journey give a prayer of thanksgiving anytime you see God blessing you and guiding you to receive His best for you. Thank Him and praise Him because He loves you so very much.
