Living for the Lord

Psalm 27:10-11 (NLT)

10     Even if my father and mother abandon me,

the Lord will hold me close.

11     Teach me how to live, O Lord.

Lead me along the path of honesty,

for my enemies are waiting for me to fall.

How many times have you walked through life trying to fill the voids in your journey?  We may have been let down by someone, lost a job, lost a spouse, or just feel empty and lost.  Too many times we try to fill the voids with sinful things and avoid those who love us and want to help us.  We avoid at times those who have our best interest at heart and want to pray with us as well as encourage us.  When we avoid help we allow the void to not be filled properly.

We need to allow the void to be filled with the love of God.  He knows what you need and at the right time He has love waiting for you.  You may have a friend with the right Scripture at the right time.  The job you match up with perfectly may just be a prayer away.  You may have lost a loved one and you need to allow others to be there for you at a trying time.  You may also feel no one cares, but know God cares.

Do not live empty and sad, but live full and glad.  Live full of His love, His mercy, His grace, His fellowship, His relationship, and know He has all the answers.  The answer to what you need in His perfect timing is always a prayer away.

So never avoid Him and know He is there to fill the void that was left with you.  He loves you and wants to fill you with His love.
