Make it a Point to Pray

Daniel 6:10 (NLT)

10  But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.

Daniel knew that the law had changed, but He did not allow it to change His relationship with God.  Daniel prayed three times a day.  He made sure He spent time with God opening his heart to pour out to God and allow God to pour back into his heart.  Do we have a special time we spend with God?  Do you start the day in prayer, end the day in prayer and call out to Him throughout the day?  If you do, please continue in your growing times with Him by spending time with God in prayer and in His Word.  Growing in your faith, your relationship with Him, and putting complete trust in Him will give you the joy you need in your journey.

Our journey lacks joy when we do not include God in our daily walk.  He has all the answers for us, but we will never know them if we do not come to Him in prayer.  I can tell you my days are brighter and have more purpose when I start the day with Him, reach out to Him during the day and praise and thank Him as the day draws to a close.  I do not treat my time with Him as an appointment, but I make it a point to spend my day including Him.

He has all we need and we need to give Him all the praise and glory for what He does for us and through us.
