To God be the Glory

Romans 11:34-36 (NKJV)

34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?” ; Jeremiah 23:18 35 “Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?” 36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Everything we have is a gift from God.  Our parents when we are born are a gift from God.  God provides us a place to live, water, food, family, friends, air to breathe, and as we grow He continues to bless us.  We have teachers, mentors, coaches, neighbors, co-workers, church friends as well as many others that God puts in our path to get to know.

God gives us the opportunity to get to know Him through others at times.  Yet the greatest gift we have is accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord.  When we ask for His forgiveness and have Him in our hearts we want to get to know Him.  We have the opportunity to pray to Him.  Pray to truly seek God’s will and see the plans He has for you.  We have the Bible to show us His love and to guide us in His love.

So as we spend time with Him we will want to be more like Him.  All knowledge comes from Him and we need to always pray before we go to the Word to be able to see all that He wants to show us.  Remember as He guides you always give Him thanks, praise, and all the glory.  We would be nothing without Jesus, we would have nothing if He did not give to us first, and we would not have love at all without His love.

So pray right now in thanks and praise and see how you can give Him all the glory in all that He does through you.
