Share Your Gifts

2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)

You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.

We see right here that we should make a decision in how much to give.  Everything we have is from God.  Your life, your salvation, your family, the world around you, and the talents you have, as we could list for days all that we have from God.  Yet how many times do we thank Him and how many times do we share with others?

So many things to share, yet do we hide our blessings from others?  We have to first give back to God.  Then we share with others as He leads us.  Yet too many times we look at sharing financially as the only area of stewardship.  Do we share His love with those that need to be loved?  Do we share our listening ears with those who have a need to open up?  Do we share encouragement with those who need courage?  A smile or tear with those who need a friend to share a tender moment with?

God has blessed all of us with special gifts to share.  Have you ever thought that God gives you the gift to share, and the recipient passes on their gift through seeing you share with them?  Others will pass on the caring act of sharing just because you passed on what God gave you.  The love of God that is shared with you is multiplied when you share what you have.

Have you shared your gifts today so that others will be blessed?  When you pass on God’s love He will get all the glory and the world will be blessed when we share because we care.
