Pray for All

John 6:66-69 (NKJV)

66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Look around you as you journey through life.  Look at your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, or those you see shopping in stores and pray for them.  Some of them may have never accepted the Lord as their Savior.  Maybe some have followed and drifted away.  Hopefully you cross paths with those who know that Jesus went to the cross for all who will believe.  The disciples had seen some go away and Jesus asked, “Do you also want to go away?”   But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.  Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus is the only way.  He came to forgive us and His going to the cross is the greatest gift of mercy, forgiveness, and grace we could ever receive.  Yet we all know people who are afraid to accept.  Some may feel unworthy and do not deserve to be forgiven.  Some may even state I will accept later.  There is one example of two who knew their time and that was the two others on the crosses beside Jesus at Calvary.  One accepted and the other rejected and they both knew they were limited in their time left to be alive.

There is no other way to Heaven, but through Jesus.  Pray as you journey for those you see to claim His love or reclaim His love.  Please be the walking example for others to see His love in and may He get all the glory!
