Romans 12:3 (NKJV)
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
Grace is given to you. We see Paul writing about the grace God gave him. This is so encouraging because of all that Paul did before he became a follower of Jesus.
1 Timothy 1:12-14 (NKJV)
12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, 13 although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
Paul is the example of grace. God used him in a mighty way. We learn that there is no excuse for us not to be saved. God knows what you have done so seek forgiveness. Jesus knew the sins you have committed that He took to the cross for you. His grace is there for you. Ask for forgiveness and receive His grace. You also have to repent and pray for Him to guide you and help you overcome your past. He did not hold Paul’s past against him and you can be forgiven also.
Grace will be given to you if you will receive it with an open and changed heart. His love is there for you so please receive it. We sometimes do not feel we deserve to be loved, but Jesus loved you enough to go to the cross for you. The price has been paid for you so please accept His grace. Jesus is a loving Savior that loves you and went to the cross for you because He cares for you and has grace for you to receive. So pray to Him today.
Thank You for going to the cross for me. Thank You for Your grace and mercy. You want to give me Your love and grace and I thank You for caring so much for me.
It is in Your Name I pray.
