Revelation 21:4-5 (NKJV)
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
I love how we can stand on God’s promises. My favorite hymn is “Standing on the Promises.” I sing it loud and proud because of God’s promises to us because He loves us. He will wipe away every tear, not just some, or a few, but all. A loving God of promises of hope, joy, and peace that are all based off of His love. That is why it is so important to come to know Jesus as your Lord. To know He went to the cross for you so that we can come to know Him and accept Him is truly love. Jesus desires for you to come to know Him and have a relationship with Him.
In having a relationship with Him we will come to enjoy the journey with Him as we anticipate spending eternity with Him. We will have all that is promised in these Scriptures, but there are so many promises we have from God throughout the Bible. So spend time with Him in prayer and in His Word so that you can come to know Him. There will be no more tears in heaven, yet while we wait know He has a count of all your tears. Know that He knows your pain, as well as the hurt in losing a loved one. Jesus loves you and that is why He went to the cross for us so spend time seeing all the promises in the Holy Bible and enjoy every step of the journey with the One Who loves you.
Dear Heavenly Father:
We thank You for Your Promises and Your love. Thank You that we have Your love, have hope, and that You give us truth. Thank You for loving us to send Jesus to show us the true way and that is through Him.
In His Loving Name we pray, Amen.
