Workmanship

Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We are His workmanship.  Now reflect upon that before you go on.  He has a plan for us and our Creator desires that you know His plan.  First He wants to save us by grace.  This requires our part and that is having faith.  Nothing we can do to earn His grace it is a gift.  Now His grace is the first of many gifts He has for us.  He also desires that we do good works.  All gifts come from Him and all that we do should be for His glory.  So we need to allow Him to show us the gifts He has for us and share them in ways that we will bless others.  All that we do should always be for Him.  He prepared, He shared, and all because He loves us.  We are blessed when we learn of the gifts.  Then as we grow in them and seek His direction on how to share and where to share we will be walking where He guides.

The workmanship He desires is to show us His love and grow us to where others will desire to have the love that we have for the Lord.  We should never boast in what we do because all that we have comes from Him.  Also when we seek Him in prayer He shows us how to share our gifts so that others will see Him through us.  We are blessed that He loves us and entrusts us to share all that He blesses us with.  So let others see the love of our Heavenly Father through you and give Him all the glory.

Prayer:

Father: Thank You for making me.  I am nothing without You so please show me how to share Your love so that others will be drawn to You.  It is by Your grace that we are saved and I love You for all that You show me and bless me.

In Your Name Jesus I pray, Amen.
