1 Timothy 4:8 (NKJV)
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
How much do you exercise your body? Some times may vary from none to up to a couple of hours. Now exercise does strengthen your body and can prolong life and it can strengthen your heart. Now the next question becomes another question about your heart. Do you strengthen you your heart with God’s love? How much time do you spend in your time with God in prayer and in the Bible? Now remember it is not endurance on length as much as is it all throughout the day? Your journey needs you to include God in all things you do. You will find knowledge, comfort, peace, His love, understanding, as well as grace in your race as you spend time with Him.
As you spend time with Him you will see that the time and wisdom you gain will be profitable. Are you non-profit? If you are then adjust your time to include Him. He will guide you and direct you as He shows you the plans He has for you. You will be able to endure the valleys, conquer the mountains, and never thirst as you seek Him in all you do. Wow to journey with Jesus and know His love as we spend time with Him as we seek the Father’s will. We can hold God’s promise to be with us now as we anticipate eternity with Him when we have a relationship with Jesus.
Father: Thank You for Your promises. Thank You for all the wisdom and understanding You give us. Forgive me when I do not include You in all that I do.
In Your Holy Name Jesus we pray, Amen.
