Thinking of Others
Reach out to Others
Spend Time with Others
Treat others with the Golden Rule
13 Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor Will also cry himself and not be heard.
We need to reach out to others. We need to realize God wants to use us. God wants to bless others through us. We do not need to separate ourselves from others. We need to know that Jesus came for all. Not everyone will hear unless we share.
God hears us when we call out to Him. We may run across others who have never heard His voice. Take the time for others. Never assume everyone knows Him. You may be the seed planter. You may be the one to come help water, nourish, or help harvest. We have an understanding God who wants us to understand others that need His love.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7(NKJV)
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
6Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
We need to be there for others. It is not by chance that our paths cross with those who are in need. We need to go out, reach out, and be out there for others. God wants to provide comfort and peace. We need to be there to help others. We learn from our mistakes and in turn can help others.
We help others learn how to trust in the One who we put our trust in. No situation is too big for God. God can move mountains, but not everyone knows He can. They either do not know Him or do not have that trust and faith. So share His love and allow others to see His love through you.
