Pleasing God

Romans 14:17-19 (NLT)

17For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God. And other people will approve of you, too. 19So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.

Are you living for God?  We need to allow His goodness, His peace and joy from the Holy Spirit to be in us and through us as we journey through life.  We need to spend time in prayer, in His direction through Scripture, and in obedience to what the Holy Spirit directs in our quiet time.  God has so much for us if we will slow down and appreciate it.  We need to be filled with His love.  When we are filled we are ready to serve.  Serve where He shows, when He tells you, what He desires to show and allow Him to show you how to share.

When we are right with Him, He will get all the glory and we will know we are blessed.  It is a blessing to share blessings with others when we allow God’s love through us.  Serve with an attitude of gratitude always knowing He will show you the way.
