Romans 8:8 (NKJV)
So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Do we please God? We see if we do not we are not living for Him. I know as I reflected this past week I was reminded of times I tried to please others first. There were times I tried to please my parents instead of honoring them. There have been times I tried to please co-workers instead of all that I was doing was for the Lord. There have been times I let pride get in the way and quit things when I tried to do them in my own strength instead of His strength. Also, there were times He wanted to glorify Himself through my weakness and I just quit when He wanted to show me it was all for His glory.
So, these are areas that I prayed on this past week. After praying through them I felt the relief, comfort, and peace I had been missing. These are what I had to deal with you may have some of the same, or you may have other areas that you have struggled. The key is God knows you and is there to listen. Take it to Him in prayer, spend time in His Word, and listen. When you do You will be blessed and you will please Him. He loved you enough to send Jesus for all your mistakes. It was His love for you that held Him on the cross. So, find some time to receive His love and please Him.
