Evaluate to Elevate

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 (NKJV)
21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.

We see here in Scripture that God wants us to test all things. Do we truly evaluate all He has for us? When we evaluate, it is not to question what He has provided, but to be thankful for all He provides. He blesses us over and over. He lays opportunities before us to show us His love. There are times we try to take things that are not of Him. We need to see what is of Him and know He loves us and will provide for us. When we see what is of Him, we will in turn see the value of His love. A value that is priceless and immeasurable. He loves us and we should be thankful.

When we praise Him and thank Him, He will show us how to utilize the blessing for His glory. In all things that He provides, we should Glorify Him. When we do this, we are elevating Him. His love through us gives Him the glory. We are to hold fast His love for us. He will meet all our needs if we will seek Him and utilize them for His Glory. The need could be financial, mental, physical, emotional or even Spiritual and regardless of the need, He knows before we ask.

As you ask, seek what is of Him and from Him. Do not seek with personal intentions, only with the intent to Glorify Him. When you do, you will abstain from evil and live for Him.
So, as you live for Him, evaluate whether you elevated His love and gave God all the Glory. He deserves all of our praise and thanks.
