John 17:20 (NKJV)
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
I love how Jesus is praying for all those who will believe. Imagine for a moment how many times you have been prayed for your life. Jesus praying for you before He even went to the cross for all who will believe. You must celebrate His love and compassion not only in His prayers, but what He did on the cross for you for your sins. A sinner yet forgiven all because He loves you.
As you continue to reflect imagine through the years all the great-grandparent’s prayers for you. They prayed for your health, your salvation, your job, your future, and your well-being. As your parents saw that they were prayed for they in turn prayed for you. We can go further in thinking about those who taught you in Sunday School that may have prayed for you. You may have had co-workers that prayed for you or even neighbors that cared and observed prayer opportunities. I have prayed for people I have walked by and that may even be you. Prayer Warriors are everywhere and there are definitely prayer opportunities is our daily journey.
We can be thankful for all who have prayed for us. We can also be in prayer for those who pray for us. Please realize as someone crosses your path they may have a need for you to take to the cross. You do not have to know the need they have, just know you need to pray. We know God cares so pray for the prayer opportunity, and be thankful for all those that have prayed for you. Be blessed and know that you are prayed for by those who love you and love to pray for those in need.
