Searching for Life’s Treasure

As we journey through life do we realize we are always in search of something? We may need a job. We may need the job to meet the need of a home or support for the family. As we are looking, we are searching the internet or connections with others that can help us with direction. We may have a job and are in search of time away for a vacation and we are researching and preparing for what is our best option. You may have some struggles in your journey and you are searching for solutions and answers. You may be on a journey that has abundance and you are in search of how to save or help someone else.
Regardless of where you are upon the journey you at times will be searching for answers that will give you joy, peace, and love that will meet the desires of you becoming all that you are to be. So many times, we do not seek God’s help in all that we do.

Proverbs 2:1-6 (NKJV)
1 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you,2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding,4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;5 Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God.6 For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;

We can become all that God desires us to be if we will seek Him in all areas of our journey. We see that He wants us to receive His love through the Scriptures, but we must spend time with Him to see what He has for us. When He shows us, they are a treasure for us to have. Yet, we may question what He is showing us? So, come to Him in prayer and He will show you how to treasure what He has for you.

The treasure is wisdom, understanding, and discernment and they all come from the Author of the Living Word. Praying and searching the Scriptures has every answer you will ever need. The key is praying and preparing to receive His treasure. When we think of treasures we think of a map to guide us. The Bible is a guide that leads us to the greatest treasure. We can see what He wants to show us if we will listen. We take trips with a GPS, and so you should let God guide you to the treasures He has for you. The Bible shows us God’s Plan of Salvation, as well as to be God’s Problem Solver for our journey.

Your journey needs to always be with Him. He has so much love to give you and your journey is lonely without Him. So, search for all He wants to show you so that each and every day will be blessed as He shows you the way. Treasure the time with Him and thank Him for all that He shows you.
