The Father’s love

John 16:26-27 (NKJV)
26 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; 27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.

The love of the Father hearing our prayers is amazing. We can come to the Father through what Jesus did upon the cross. Jesus shedding His blood for us. His going to the cross for all sinners and yes that includes everyone. Yet not everyone will come to Him and allow Him to be Lord of their lives. God listens, hears, answers and allows us to live in His love. His love, mercy, forgiveness and grace are all there for us when we call.

The most important prayer is to admit we are sinners and believe what Jesus did for us was because He loves us. When we believe and then confess Him as our Lord and Savior. This is the beginning of experiencing His love and when we call upon Him we will treasure the love He has for us.

Now some of our prayers may be simple, yet some may be deep. There are times you speak and there are times you will listen. There may be times you scream out that He has abandoned you, and yet there are times you feel His love for you regardless of the storm.

Call out to the One who provides hope for the hopeless, mercy for those in need, grace for those who fall in the race of life, and forgiveness when we fail. He loves, He listens, and when we listen He leads us because of His love. So, pray to the One Who loves you enough to have sent His Son for us. What a Mighty God that loves us so much for who we are.

Father, Your love is there for all who call upon You. Jesus You paid it all and I thank You from the bottom of my heart. Thank You Father for hearing my prayer. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
