Psalm 63:1-5 (NKJV)
1 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. 2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. 3 Because Your loving kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. 4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
Busy schedule, busy life, yet are we too busy for the One who created you and your life? Take time for the One who creates time. Listen to the One who gave you ears to hear. Give your heart to the One who created your heart. Praise Him, thank Him, ask Him, seek Him, search for answers, and seek the One who loves you more than you can imagine.
We see David started early. So, the question is do you start your day with the One who created the day and desires to guide you throughout the day? Your soul is thirsty for His wisdom do you read His Word to start the day? Look for Him as He is there to show you great and mighty things. Do you see His power and see His wonderful glory?
When we see all that He wants to show us realize how much He loves you. Praise Him, thank Him for blessing you, He provides and we need to truly praise Him with joyful lips. These are some challenging verses and a blessing to live by. His guidance, His direction, and all for His glory. The joy is in knowing His love gives us not only life now, but also eternal life in accepting Jesus as our Lord.
What a loving, powerful and mighty God we can come to at any time. So, take the time each day to search His Word, praise Him, thank Him, listen to all He says, and see what He shows you all because He loves you.
