Kindness Comes from God

Titus 3:4-7 (NKJV)
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

The love of God poured out on us is more than we deserve. His kindness towards us in having a plan to save us goes beyond comprehension. Jesus coming to save us by going to the cross was God’s plan all along. His kindness in having a plan that Jesus would pay the price for our mistakes is more than we deserve. By Jesus going to the cross we have the opportunity to be saved and this is the one and only true example of grace and mercy. The measure of this kindness cannot be realized. How do you measure it? The washing away of our sins, the receiving of the Holy Spirit when we are saved, and to know we are heirs because of the price that Jesus paid is immeasurable.

To realize the kindness of the One who created you, loves you and wants you spend Eternity with Him is truly love with a sacrificial price. Jesus is the One and Only way yet so many delay accepting His love, or totally deny His love. He went for all, yet we must come to Him and admit we are sinners and believe that He truly paid the price for us. We can not earn what He has paid the price for in going to the cross. Some will tell you they are good or that they can work to get there, yet that is not possible. Jesus paid the price for them because of His love and the Father’s kindness.

So please take the time today to be thankful to God for His plan. Thank Jesus for going to the cross to pay the price for your mistakes. Thank the Holy Spirit for guiding you and comforting you. Lastly thank our Loving Heavenly Father for His loving kindness towards us.
