His Power Shows Us His Ways
24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
When we have hope in God’s love, we have all we need. He is love and He loved us enough to send us His Son Jesus. When we focus upon Jesus we will persevere. We have all we need when we know Jesus. He is our Savior, Teacher, Friend, Lord, and Mediator just to name a few of the ways he shows He loves us. So, we see we can persevere when we hope in Him.
Our hope leads us to call out to Him in prayer. Jesus said He must go to be with the Father and in turn the Holy Spirit would come and be our Helper. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us. In doing so we will begin to see God’s will for us. Perseverance through hope, and prayers interceded lead to God’s plan for us. His power gives us all we need.
We receive all we need when we trust in His power. He shows us His will which in turn shows us our purpose. We become complete when we seek His all by giving Him our all. What a loving God that shares His love and we can in turn always put our hope in Him.
Thank You for Your love, thank You for Your Son, and thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to us for us to be able to put our hope in You. Thank You that we can persevere as we pray and see the plans You desire to show us so that we can see we have a purpose in this journey You have blessed us with through Your love.
In Your Son’s Loving Name that is above every name we pray, Amen.
