Hope in His Power: Righteousness by Faith
Your DESIRES for righteousness…
RESIDES in you through faith!!!
Your righteousness can only come through your faith in Jesus. Simply put we must put our faith in Him. His love for us in going to the cross goes beyond measure. Thanking Him for the price He paid is truly needed because it is not about works, or about being good, but truly accepting Jesus through faith. The price He paid was in love to provide us with grace, mercy, forgiveness, and hope. It is all about His love for us.
You have a desire for His love so truly accept all He has for you. So please pray and seek a journey full of love and mercy and walk with the One who went to the cross for you through His love for you.
Galatians 5:5 (NKJV)
5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Our desires for His righteousness by faith lead us to fear Him, hope in Him, trust His deliverance, depend upon His help and protection, have joy in Him, and know our mercy is only from Him as we see in Scripture.
Psalm 33:18-22 (NKJV)
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,
19 To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.
22 Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.
Jesus tells us He will fill our desires when He resides in our lives because of what He has done for us.
Matthew 5:6 (NKJV)
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
Psalm 51:5-13 (NKJV)
Our desire is to get out of our sinful nature.
5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
Our desire is for truth.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
Our desire is to be cleansed from our sin.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
His grace leads to joy, our guilt leads to brokenness.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
When Jesus resides in us God sees us through His blood.
9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.
We desire to be renewed we do not want to live in sin.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
We are filled with the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Joy through His generosity His saving us and continued grace through repentance.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Sharing the love of Jesus that resides in you with those you know who desire to come to know His love.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.
It all starts with you asking Jesus into your heart to truly fill the desires of your heart.
Luke 11:9-13 (NKJV)
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Father: We thank You for Your love, mercy and grace through Jesus. Your love is truly amazing. Amen.
