Hope in His Power: Salvation
As you go to read this, I want you to picture the cross before you read the following Scriptures.
1. Picture Jesus upon the cross for you.
2. Picture your sins upon Him for you.
3. Picture His love for you by paying a price for you.
4. Picture His forgiveness, mercy and grace for your mistakes knowing that He loved you enough to go to the cross for you.
5. Know that He did this for you so that you can spend eternity with Him when you accept His love and believe in Him.
What a love, what a Friend, and what an obedient Savior who loves us enough to have paid the ultimate price for us and He is the Only way to Heaven and yes, He loves you that much.
Psalm 119:81 (NKJV)
81 My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word.
Psalm 73:26 (NKJV)
26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 84:2 (NKJV)
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
John 10:7-30 (NKJV)
7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17 Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” 19 Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these sayings. 20 And many of them said, “He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?” 21 Others said, “These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?” 22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”

11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
John 17:20-24 (NKJV) 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
Father: Your love for us goes beyond what we deserve, yet You sent Jesus for us and He paid the price for us. Thank You for Your grace and mercy and thank You Jesus for Your loving sacrifice for my sins. Forgive me for sending You to the cross with my sins but thank You for loving me enough to take my sins there.
In Your Loving Name I pray, Amen.
